In the last fortnight, among other projects, our team developed the mobile website for Mitsubishi Motors (Germany) - one of the largest automakers in the world. The company has a vast network of dealers and distributors located all over Europe. Hence, this makes it necessary for their customers to interact with the dealers/ distributors as and when needed. The mobile version of their website would help clients in interacting with the company representatives, as well as, help the distributors and dealers to answer customer queries promptly.
The mobile website for this multinational automaker developed by Web Spiders has the following features:
State of the art dealer locater - This application will help the customers in locating their nearest auto dealer.
Interactive 360 degree view of the models - Customers can view the preferred car models on their smartphones, from all sides. Thus, they need not have to step inside a dealer showroom to view the automobile and select the models while on the move.
Technical details of the car models - Visitors browsing the website on their smartphones can look at all the technical details of the automobile models, including the special action models of cars manufactured by the automaker.
Photo and video gallery - The mobile website boasts an extensive collection of photographs featuring different models of cars up for sale. Besides, buyers accessing the mobile website of the automaker can also watch videos of the cars prior to booking.
The mobilized website can be accessed across all major mobile platforms which includes - iOS, Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone. The mobile version of the website uses Ektron CMS400.Net platform which  integrates with legacy product management tool and the centralized CMS of Mitsubishi Motors.
We performed a detailed requirement analysis, then designed, developed and successfully implemented the mobile website for the client in quick time.
