RIM has announced two new BlackBerry phones, the BlackBerry Bold 9650 and the BlackBerry Pearl 3G. Both are upgrades to existing BlackBerry phones.
The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is a CDMA enabled upgrade of BlackBerry Tour, with similar looks and features. It has an optical trackpad, with 512MB phone memory and supports Wi-Fi for 802.11 b/g networks. The BlackBerry Pearl is an upgrade to the BlackBerry Pearl series. The candy-bar designed phone has more phone memory (256MB), 3G support, an optical trackpad, and GPS with Wi-Fi support for 802.11 b/g/n networks with a 360x400 resolution screen. The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is expected to arrive on Sprint and Verizon, while the BlackBerry Pearl 3G Series.
