Apple has modified its App Store, to make browsing for apps easier. It has changed the appearance of its homescreen to add separate buttons for accessing apps for the iPhone and the iPad separately.
The homescreen now has a new spilt button, shaped like a pill, at the top of the page. Clicking on the appropriate iPhone or the iPad button will take users to the correct App Store. Earlier, the apps for both devices were in a single page with the spilt button for the separate App Store on the right-hand side of the screen. While searching for non-universal apps in the iTunes Store, the app will be listed only under iPhone apps, even if it is available for both the iPad and the iPhone.
