Medical Expert with EMR System Expertise

About the Role:

‍WS Humaned is seeking a skilled Medical Expert with deep experience in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. You will support our AI and healthcare data projects by providing clinical insights, reviewing EMR data, and ensuring data quality for medical AI training. This is a fully remote, hourly contract position with flexible scheduling.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• MD, DO, RN, or equivalent clinical qualification with active licensure in US, Canada, or UK.
• Strong hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, MEDITECH).
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience working with EMR workflows.
• Familiarity with medical documentation, coding, and data standards (ICD-10, SNOMED, LOINC).
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality data annotation and validation.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze EMR data for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide clinical expertise to support data annotation, labeling, and AI model training.
• Identify discrepancies, data gaps, or inconsistencies in EMR records.
• Collaborate with AI and data teams to improve workflows and annotation standards.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security guidelines (HIPAA, GDPR).

Preferred Attributes:

• Prior experience contributing to AI/ML projects in healthcare.
• Familiarity with clinical decision support systems and interoperability standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
• Analytical mindset with interest in healthcare technology innovation.
