Shopify Developer

We are looking for a talented Shopify Developer with hands-on experience in building custom Shopify apps, themes, and integrations to join our growing eCommerce engineering team.

Prior Experience: 3–6 years

Location: Kolkata, Rajarhat-Newtown (Work from office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes, apps, and plugins (both free and paid versions).
  
• Build Shopify custom apps using Shopify API, GraphQL, REST, and Polaris framework.
  
• Implement Liquid templates, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6, and Shopify CLI for front-end development.
  
• Integrate third-party services (payment gateways, CRMs, ERP, etc.) with Shopify stores.
  
• Manage Shopify store setup, configuration, performance optimization, and security.
  
• Debug, test, and deploy new features ensuring compatibility across browsers and devices.
  
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver pixel-perfect, high-performance stores.
• Stay up to date with Shopify updates, app ecosystem trends, and eCommerce best practices.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX.
  
• Experience with Shopify APIs (Admin, Storefront, GraphQL) and Shopify App Bridge.
  
• Expertise in custom Shopify App development using Node.js, React, or PHP (Laravel).
  
• Knowledge of Shopify Plus, Headless Commerce, and Hydrogen/Remix is a plus.
  
• Experience publishing and managing Shopify apps on the App Store (free or paid).
  
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and version control (GitHub, Bitbucket).
  
• Understanding of SEO principles, page speed optimization, and web accessibility.
  
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and webhooks.
