We are looking for a Lead Developer with deep expertise in ERPNext/Frappe Framework to lead the design, development, and enhancement of our in-house Procurement Platform. This role demands a hands-on technical leader who can guide a team of developers, architect scalable solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of our Procurement Platform using the ERPNext/Frappe Framework.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of 4–6 developers, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Design and implement scalable backend systems using Python, and build responsive, intuitive frontends with JavaScript.
- Oversee code reviews, ensure high-quality releases, and maintain coding standards across the team.
- Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with other internal/external systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the development process, automation, and system scalability.
- Stay updated on ERPNext/Frappe updates and emerging technologies relevant to procurement and supply chain automation.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of overall software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ERPNext/Frappe Framework – mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Proven experience in leading development teams (4–6 members) with successful project delivery.
- Solid understanding of database design, API integrations, and modular architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Procurement, Supply Chain, or ERP domain.
- Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based deployments (AWS/Azure).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Trello.
