The Birla high school was founded by Lakshmi Niwas Birla in 1941. The school is organized into the Junior section and the Senior section in separate buildings. There is a separate Girl's section under the name of Sushila Birla Girls' School.
The client approached WS to develop the Birla High School website (Senior & Junior) , Sushila Birla Girls School website and LN Birla website.
The design of the websites were responsive using HTML5 and CSS3 to support the same on touch based mobile devices. All the contents, components, features and functionalities present in the website was present in the mobile site. The same page template was used both for web and mobile site.
WS used Drupal multisite to create 2 domains on single Drupal installation. A single codebase and four separate database was used for the four sites.
The informative website along with regular and easy updates on different message boards, activity calendars made it easy for the users to keep track of all information ongoing about the schools.
