WS is looking for a Magento Developer who understands upgrading and adding advance features. In this role they should have an expert understanding of object oriented programming architecture and Magento technologies. You will be expected to participate and responsible for implementing changes and additions, while following best practices,
Prior Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in Magento
2-5 years of experience in developing both frontend and backend Magento websites
Expert in the Magento platform & Strong experience with LAMP stack ( PHP, Mysql )
Knowledge of Magento backend development (building custom extensions and modules).
Magento front end development Building Custom Themes & Magento Theme Integration.
Knowledge of Open Frameworks like Codeigniter or Interface experience (XML,SOAP,REST) or Google Map is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, documentation skills & enjoys working in a team environment.
Expert understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components.
Expertise in authoring and extending Magento extensions.
Thorough experience in customizing Magento's front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates.
Competent in web services integrations (REST/SOAP).
