WS is currently looking for Application Programmer-Drupal,someone who will design and implement new features and functionalities, and establish and guide the architecture of the website, ensuring high performance. You will manage all the technical aspects of the CMS. You will work closely with front-end developers to ensure effective and visually appealing implementation.. The ideal candidate is capable of problem solving and has superior communication skills.
Prior Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Drupal
Location: Kolkata (Rajarhat-New Town) / Remote
Requirements
- Must be Experienced with Drupal 7, Drupal 8/9
- Research, evaluate, design, and implement new features and functionalities
- Ensure high-performance and availability
- Provide scoping, testing, and development of technical solutions
- Develop, maintain and customize Drupal-based websites and applications
- Develop, maintain and customize Drupal custom modules and themes based on functional requirements
- Integrate websites and web applications with business systems like Payment Gateways
- Create clean, simple, and logical user interfaces for content authors
- Implementation of the custom module at the level
- Views, webform, Rules, context, panel, features, services, media management, Feeds, paragraph
- Core API, Form API, Plug-ins
Preferred to Have :
- Bootstrap framework
- PSD to HTML
- HTML/CSS/JS static HTML pg development
- Static HTML to Responsive HTML
- jQuery plugin implementation
Responsibilities
- The programmer would be responsible for Project Requirement Studies,System Analysis & Design Coding and implementing the system as per the software architecture along with System & User Documentation
- Must have basic and advanced knowledge for developing web based applications and sites using PHP & My SQL in Drupal
- Proficiency of development in Linux environment using SVN
- Strong knowledge in Drupal Hooks and API. Must have experience of developing custom module (Drupal 8). Experience in PHP frameworks (Symfony/CakePHP/Zend).
- Experience desired in other technologies like Ajax, JQuery
- Must have strong problem solving skill with excellent written & oral communication
- Adapting & quick learning of skill sets required for various upgrades to the base technologies & exploring those for meeting business requirements
