The netbook market is being devoured by iPads. In a survey by Morgan Stanley, the sales of netbooks as compared to iPads and other tablets have fallen down. This shows that, due to people’s demand for the iPad, netbooks will soon be targeting only niche audience who are still interested in buying them.
The sales of the low cost, low-powered netbooks had witnessed a peak last year. There was a growth rate of 641% year-over-year. The survey also mentioned that 44% of the US consumers who planned to buy an iPad were buying it instead of a netbook.
