Project: Oracle Financials Support and Bespoke

Opportunity:
The client outsources almost all of its IT implementation
and support. Having upgraded their Oracle Financials applications
to Release 11i, there was a requirement to provide technical
and function support to the production environment. Additionally,
they wanted to amend certain standard Oracle Financials reports
to cater to their requirement.
Solution:
Support
Web Spiders provides the customer 24*7 support via its Web
Based iCare Support application. The end users log queries,
software bugs, and enhancement requests on iCare that is automatically
transferred to Web Spiders’ support consultant. The
support consultant then verifies the problem description,
investigates into the issue and provides resolution via iCare.
Such a support model provides speed of response, incident
tracking and scalability.
Bespoke development
Web Spiders undertook the task of modifying various Oracle
Financials standard report and customized them to meet customer’s
requirements. The reports were developed using Oracle Developer
v6i and implemented in Oracle Financials existing technology
stack.
