Opportunity
The objective specified by the client was to create an application that their target audience could use to manage their suppliers, and to develop action plans for them. Web Spiders was given the responsibility to develop this application exclusively for the sales representatives.
Solutions
After studying the client specifications meticulously, Web Spiders developed an offline desktop application to be used by the sales representatives. The architecture of the application supports complex functionalities of the job of a sales representative. This application can be used to manage their suppliers, their market regions, and create action plans for them. The 'Action Plan' is based on an 'Assessment', where a level is scored, and actions are set for each of the 6 levels for the score attained. After the assessment part is complete, the 'Action Plan PDF' is produced. This Action Plan consists of all action items, the samples, and the resources based on supplier market regions. The sales representatives would have the ability to both view and edit the Action Plan as required.
