Client : Consulting Company
Opportunity
Our client specified the requirement of an application that is exclusively meant
for a clinic. Multiple users would be able to use the application; and it needed
to be configured so that it could be used in many countries with multiple codes.
The client wanted such an application that could be used to fix appointments of
patients with doctors, maintain resources, encrypt medical histories and provide
visual alerts.
Solutions
Web Spiders followed the client’s guidelines in detail and developed a Dentistry
Practice Management Application. This application is ideal for any dental clinic
where a large number of doctors treat patients with several problems, using multiple
resources. This application is a sophisticated substitute for manual management,
especially if doctors want to look for resources (X- ray equipments, chairs, stretchers,
etc). The system is entirely built around a managed ASP Internet provider model;
a server farm running the management system is located off the client’s site.
The dashboard of the application depicts several colors, with each one having a
special meaning of its own. The administrator has several options to customize the
application. This application is accessible to everybody at the clinic (doctors,
front desk and administrators) and they can access all the information that they
require (according to permission levels). It provides common, intuitive and visually
impressive charting interfaces for doctors and other staff. Systemic security measures
in the application encrypt patients’ data that require privacy. Doctors can have
access to the real-time consulting services and adjust the status (appointment in
progress, or checked out, etc.) accordingly. Doctors can also use this application
to view scanned X-ray reports of the patients in his/ her list. The application
has a provision to maintain accounts of insurances and mediclaims. Ample information
on medicine is also available for the doctors, through third party sources.
